Keeping up with Conklin…….

 

     It might seem a bit difficult to keep up with the “happenings” at Conklin lately as we have been a very busy group!  We have something for EVERYONE, starting with a Monday night exercise program, a bi-weekly Bible Study, a monthly book club, a monthly volunteer program at the Feed the Children warehouse and a soon to start monthly movie night. In addition to these recurring events we also have had a very busy single event schedule.

     We met in September and threw out some ideas of things that we would like to see happen at the church and to date we have had a youth trip to Franklin Mills, Football Sunday and Tailgate luncheon, and a very successful Rummage Sale and Lunch.  This weekend (10/29) we will have a Fall Festival and Costume Party from 2-4pm and the All Saints Day Observation on the 30th.

     Future plans include an Oldies Night, an Ethnic Food Night and a Spaghetti Supper fund raiser.  If you want to get involved with any of these events please refer to the monthly calendar that is posted on this website or stop by the church.
